The Locust Business District takes seriously its mission to improve the beauty and maintain the cleanliness of the district.
The LBD has installed more than 60 waste cans throughout the district and contracts with New Life Landscaping to empty them regularly. To support pet companions in the area, dog waste stations are installed alongside trash cans near residential buildings and grassy areas.
New Life Landscaping also provides periodic weed control and grounds-keeping support under contract to the LBD.
WAYS TO GET INVOLVED!
The LBD hosts neighborhood clean-ups twice a year with supplies provided by Operation Brightside. The Midtown Alley Business Association hosts ‘Trashy Tuesday’ clean-ups once a month.
